Saint Luke's Outpatient Imaging Center has served
the Kansas City area since 1993. Our imaging center is committed
to serving our patients and referring physicians with the highest
levels of excellence by providing diagnostic as well as therapeutic
radiology services. The imaging center has been recognized for
excellence in patient care and our high-quality exams which have
been accredited by the ACR (American College of Radiology), in
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Ultrasound (Sonograms) and CT
(CAT scan or Computerized Tomography). We offer high-resolution
diagnostic imaging combined with board certified, ACR member Radiologists,
ARRT Registered Technologists, a Registered Nurse and efficient,
skilled support staff.
The Radiologists who staff the imaging center include
ACR accredited specialists in neuroradiology, sonography, nuclear
medicine, all aspects of CT and MRI, general radiology to include
gastrointestinal x-ray, genitourinary x-ray, musculoskeletal x-ray,
bone density and interventional radiology. We now offer Open MRI
(in addition to our high field MRI), Sclerotherapy, calcium score heart scans, CT Virtual Colonoscopy and special procedures including PICC line placements.
MPIA also now offers access to images for referring physicians through
our web based PACS.
Saint Luke's Outpatient Imaging Center offers a
very pleasant and caring outpatient environment that is conveniently
located near the Plaza, across the street from Saint Luke's Hospital
and The Mid America Heart Institute, Kansas City's premier health-care
facility. The facility is in The Medical Plaza III building and
has easy accessibility with covered parking.
Office hours are from 6:30-5:30 pm. MRI offers
extended evening hours (until 8 pm Monday through Thursdays) and
Saturday mornings.
